The institute name translates: people development. Chanapatana pronounces cha-na-phat
in Thai.

CIDI
The abbreviation of Chanapatana International Design Institute pronounces cee-dee.
The management of the institute adopted the official short name of the institute as 'CIDI Chanapatana'. Four letters stand for four main pillars of the institute: Phra Tepjetiyajarn
as the founder, students and alumni, faculty, and volunteer.

If Life is Design!
The institute motto emphasizes the importance of design in developing everyday life.

Blue and Orange
Blue stands for people development righteously. Orange stands for creativity and inspiration.

The Basics
Shape triangle, square, and circle, the basic shapes, have been in both 2000 and 2005 versions of our institute logo. They stands for the foundation of design resembling CIDI Chanapatana as the foundation of Thailand design development.
