Throughout the program, students will gain a well-rounded foundation in interior and product design, integrating technical skills, creative thinking, and real-world application. Key learning outcomes include:
- Technical Drawing & Conceptual Skills: Students will master architectural drafting, furniture design plans, and visual communication using both hand-rendered and digital techniques. Emphasis is placed on drawing accuracy, spatial development, and concept ideation.
- Creative & Aesthetic Development: The curriculum supports the exploration of design fundamentals, historical art analysis, and creative problem-solving through residential and retail design studio projects.
- Digital & 3D Proficiency: Learners will utilize software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp to develop 3D models, render interior spaces, and integrate digital tools into their design workflow.
- Material & Product Innovation: Students will explore furniture, finishes, and product design that enhance modern lifestyles—applying ergonomics, spatial planning, and industry standards to craft thoughtful interior environments.
- Sustainability & Identity Systems:
In the final semester, students will examine sustainable design strategies and develop a personal brand system and portfolio to support career readiness. A capstone project focused on hospitality interior design will demonstrate their ability to handle complex real-world challenges with creativity and professionalism.
