Overview

Interior & Product Design Program provides students with a comprehensive knowledge of basic design, history of art and architecture, freehand drawing, research and development, interior design studios to create innovative design solutions, design projects and portfolio building. This program allows students to initiate projects and develop such projects professionally to finish at the level of real-world projects.

Learning Outcome

Throughout the program, students will gain a well-rounded foundation in interior and product design, integrating technical skills, creative thinking, and real-world application. Key learning outcomes include:

  • Technical Drawing & Conceptual Skills: Students will master architectural drafting, furniture design plans, and visual communication using both hand-rendered and digital techniques. Emphasis is placed on drawing accuracy, spatial development, and concept ideation.
  • Creative & Aesthetic Development: The curriculum supports the exploration of design fundamentals, historical art analysis, and creative problem-solving through residential and retail design studio projects.
  • Digital & 3D Proficiency: Learners will utilize software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp to develop 3D models, render interior spaces, and integrate digital tools into their design workflow.
  • Material & Product Innovation: Students will explore furniture, finishes, and product design that enhance modern lifestyles—applying ergonomics, spatial planning, and industry standards to craft thoughtful interior environments.
  • Sustainability & Identity Systems:
    In the final semester, students will examine sustainable design strategies and develop a personal brand system and portfolio to support career readiness. A capstone project focused on hospitality interior design will demonstrate their ability to handle complex real-world challenges with creativity and professionalism.
